GB has began to adapt his premises, his production and project processes in order to reach the higher level contemplated by the regulation standards.

As far as the quality certification is concerned, GB considers it as an essential agent for activating an excellent system for company management and an important communicative leverage for transferring the value of his product. Therefore it has already started all the procedures for the redefining of many company standards.

In particular, GB gives the highest attention to the redefining of the production and managing processes which can contribute to achieve the full satisfaction of our customers, and then to the controls of the production process of the gearboxes, the traceability of the measurements, the design management and the after-sales service.

The company has just finished moving all mechanical machining lines for power transmission to a new building, larger and better organised, to handle all production processes more efficiently.

The new GB facilities now host all gear cutting, turning and toothing processes.

This second moving stage will involve 2400 sq.m that are added to the 4100 sq.m of the first expansion stage ended last August and to 1200 sq.m of offices.

As a result of a carefully designed layout of spaces, the new GB facilities ensure that gearboxes orders will be more speedily dispatched and that the most stringent requirements set forth by quality (ISO 9001), occupational safety and health (OHSAS 18.001) and environmental (ISO:14.001) certifications are more efficiently met. The company aims at achieving this objective within this year.

GB started a partnership with Brevini Power Transmission Reduktor Sun of Istanbul to supply gearboxes for cattle breeding and fodder (mainly for power transmissions in mixers) and to supply gearboxes for treating soil and for sprayers.

Entering the Turkish market means for GB an important landmark that shows the company’s power to penetrate not only those markets that care most for quality and excellence but also those traditionally price-sensitive areas.

To succeed in imposing here the 100% Made-in-Italy gearboxes for the farming sector (from design to manufacture, to the entire supply chain, everything leading to Italian excellence) is for GB an important goal.

The gearbox had been requested by Peruzzo, from Curtarolo (PD), an important global player in the market of riding mowers and lawn mowers that requested high performance from the point of view of noise reduction in its product.

In particular, a gearbox for green riding mowers to be used on golf courses and to be used on small tractors with 2600 rpm power take-off.

GB manufactured the product thanks to a technological cycle devoted to the production of gears with helical teeth, thus making the gearbox work at 2600 rpm with a noise level of 79/82 decibels. In addition, some features were introduced in order to be able to keep the operating temperature at 75°C.

Then, GB performed an accurate assembly of the gearboxes, adopting adequate tolerance values, and thus meeting the client’s requirements.

The gearbox developed by GB for Peruzzo has been recently exhibited at EIMA, the trade fair devoted to the sector of agriculture and maintenance of green spaces.

As a matter of fact, GB will be exhibiting many of its gearboxes in the Paris trade fair devoted to agriculture and cattle breeding.

In hall 4, booth K 076, visitors will be able to meet GB technicians specialised in the development of gearboxes with customised solutions characterised by a totally Made-in-Italy supply chain (from the selection of raw materials, to design and production).

It will also be possible to see many of the projects developed by the Bologna-based company, with gearboxes for machines used for fodder (silo distributors, slurry agitators, food mixers), gearboxes for the maintenance of green spaces and those for power transmission in the sector of agricultural soil preparation, as well as gearboxes for soil cutters, rotary ploughs, diggers and many other machines.

The appointment with GB solutions has therefore been already made from 22 to 26 February in Paris.
